It is considered one of the fastest and most dependable means of long distance travel by train in Pakistan. How to Book Your Green Line Ticket
It’s easy and convenient to book your Green Line train internet ticket.
Online Booking:
- Troll the official Pakistan Railways website or reliable online booking websites like Bookme. pk.
- Choose your departure and destination stations (for example, Karachi Cantt to Margala or vice versa).
- Select your travel date and class of service.
- Enter passenger details.

Train Schedule and Stops
The Green Line is operational every day, back and forth to Karachi and Islamabad.
Departure from Karachi Cantt (5UP Green Line Express): Evening (around 10:00 PM) and arrival in Islamabad Margala the next evening (around 8:15 PM).
From Margala (6DN Green Line Express) : Departing in the afternoon (approximately 3:00PM) from Margala and arriving in Karachi Cantt the next afternoon (approximately 2:20PM).
